Steve has built an impressive career as a professional singer, performing in various bands and genres. His musical journey began in indie bands during the 1990s, where he earned a record deal with MCA and for the past 20 years, he’s been the lead singer of The Swinging Little Big Band, a successful swing act renowned for its energy and style, which has played at many of the UK’s most prestigious venues.

Steve launched Vox Pop Choirs in 2018, driven by a passion for sharing the transformative power of music. His choirs thrive on creating a fun, dynamic, and supportive environment, where participants feel empowered to sing with confidence and joy. With his hands-on approach, Steve arranges the harmonies and accompanies his groups on guitar or piano, helping them grow not just as singers but as individuals. 

Steve’s unique ability to nurture confidence and foster connection creates a safe, uplifting space for participants to find their voices and shine.
